These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Simorgh Bridge Foundation (“the Foundation”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) website, services, and online platforms (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of our Services immediately.

1. Purpose of the Website

The Foundation’s website is intended to provide information about our mission, programs, events, and opportunities to support our charitable work. It may also facilitate online donations, event registrations, and membership applications.

2. Eligibility

You may use our Services only if you are:

  • At least 18 years old, or using the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian; and

  • Capable of entering into legally binding agreements under applicable law.

3. Donations and Payments
  • All donations made through our Services are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

  • Tax receipts will be issued in compliance with the rules of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) if and when the Foundation obtains registered charity status.

  • Donations are processed by secure third-party payment processors, and the Foundation does not store full credit or debit card details.

4. Intellectual Property
  • All text, images, graphics, logos, videos, and other materials on our Services are the intellectual property of the Foundation or used under license.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or otherwise use any content from our Services without prior written permission.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our Services for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

  • Upload or transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software.

  • Interfere with the security, functionality, or performance of our Services.

  • Impersonate the Foundation or misrepresent your affiliation with us.

The Foundation reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
