Simorgh Bridge Foundation was founded by members of the University of British Columbia Persian Club (UBCPC) in order to devote more resources and efforts towards philanthropic activities. UBCPC is an AMS student club and is, thus, bound by restrictions to charitable and philanthropic activites. Simorgh Bridge Foundation is a separate entity from UBCPC and is not an AMS student club, and therefore is not beholden to these same restrictions.
However, Simorgh Bridge works in close partnership with the UBCPC, collaborating on events and fundraisers and is managed by many of the students in UBCPC.
You can easily see the impact of your donations by visiting our "Reports" page, where we post the activities and initiatives that are made possible due to your contributions.
Simorgh Bridge Foundation is a non-profit organization and, therefore, every dollar that you contribute is used to support our initiatives and to help keep the organization up and running.
